Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has released the applications for the recruitment of assistant lineman from the candidates who have completed apprenticeship in the trade of lineman. Interested candidates can apply for the recruitment by filling online application from 25th July 2019. Before applying, they must check if they fulfill the eligibility requirements laid down by the authority or not. Only Indian nationals can apply for PSPCL assistant lineman recruitment 2019. Candidates will be selected according to the marks obtained in the written test (conducted by the authority) and performance in the interview.

Applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria for PSPCL assistant lineman 2019-
- Age limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years old and not be more than 37 years old. All reserved category candidates of Punjab state can claim relaxation in age as per the rules.
- Educational qualification: Applicants should have completed apprenticeship in the trade of lineman and have experience in electrical/ wireman trade from any registered board.
- Note: Preference will be given to those candidates who have done an apprenticeship in PSPCL / PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB.

Candidates can apply for recruitment via online mode. The application form for assistant lineman can be filled from the website of PSPCL. Candidates must have a valid email id or phone number to register themselves for the recruitment. It is important for the candidates to fill in their details very carefully as no correction window shall be provided once the form is submitted successfully. If during any stage of the recruitment, the details provided by the candidates are found to be misleading then such candidates will be disqualified from the recruitment process. Candidates should ensure that they submit their application on time to avoid disappointment at the last minute.
The authority will shortlist the candidates for the concerned post based on the marks secured by them in the written exam and interview. A merit list will be published on the website of PSPCL informing the candidates of their selection. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification where they will be issued an appointment letter only after the successful verification of documents.
