Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) has released the application form for the appointment of assistant software engineer for its upcoming projects. Candidates interested in pursuing this job need to apply online for CRIS assistant software engineer recruitment 2019. Selection of the candidates for the concerned post will be done on the basis of GATE 2019 scores obtained by them.

Candidates can apply online by visiting the website of CRIS i.e. www.cris.org.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Candidates have to upload their documents in the form. They must provide correct information in the application form as incorrect or misleading information is likely to result in disqualification of the candidature. Only one application form has to be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, the one with the higher registration number will be considered a valid one. Applicants need not send the hardcopy of the filled-in application/registration form to the authority. Candidates should also bear in mind that the application once submitted cannot be modified later on. The form should be submitted on or before the deadline mentioned by the authority to avoid rejection of the same.

Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- as the application fee for CRIS assistant software engineer 2019. Candidates need to deposit the fee in CRIS’s account with SBI after completing the registration process. SC/ST, women and PWD candidates need not pay the application fee i.e. they are exempted from paying the fee.
Given below are the basic eligibility requirements needed for the post of an assistant software engineer in CRIS-
- Age limit: 22 years to 27 years as on last date of application submission. OBC (NCL) and ST/SC candidates can claim relaxation in upper age as applicable.
- Prescribed qualification: Candidates should have completed B.E/B.Tech in computer science & engineering or computer science or computer technology or information technology or computer science & information technology or computer applications, or MCA or B.Sc (computer science-4 year degree course) degree from a recognized institute/university with min 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates), and gate scores as specified. Candidates with ME/M.Tech in CSE can also apply provided they possess the required gate 2019 scores.
- Note: Only those possessing a valid GATE 2019 score along with the relevant prescribed qualification can apply for the recruitment.
Mode of selection
Candidates will get selected according to the scores obtained by them in GATE 2019. Those whose applications are shortlisted by the authority have to pass the medical examination as per CRIS rules. Candidates selected as assistant software engineer might get posted at CRIS headquarter at New Delhi or at any regional offices at New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Secunderabad as per the requirements of CRIS. The authority will communicate to the candidates via their registered email or through its website.
